Empire Alpaca Association Welcomes You

The Empire Alpaca Association ("EAA") was born in 2002 as an outgrowth of the first Empire Alpaca Extravaganza. Those first 16 farms expressed a desire to become a New York Affiliate of the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association. From the original 16 farms, EAA now has 232 members – ranging from small farms to some of the largest in the country plus non-owner enthusiasts. EAA is the first Affiliate to draft and vote in a Code of Ethics, something of which we're all very proud. EAA supports all its members equally with marketing and educational efforts.

EAA does more than host the Empire Alpaca Extravaganza – which is does proudly. The Extravaganza makes many opportunities available: support of the camelid industry through donations to the International Camelid Institute and the Quechua Benefit; direct marketing through the purchase of trade show space and mailings to prospective breeders and education in the form of the Empire Alpaca Symposium.

Whether you're new to the industry or a seasoned pro, thank you for visiting EAA's website. We encourage you to dig deeper, visit our member farms or check out some of our events.
