Hootalinqua is our prize foundation female from the Patagonia herd. She consistently produces outstanding quality cria, and is an exceptional mom. Her offspring gain 1 to 1.5# per day with IgG's above 2000. Even at her age, she is a beauty to behold. Every breeding has produced color, primarily black, with beautiful conformation, fiber, and sweet temperaments. Her offspring are winning multiple ribbons, and 2 won Championships. What a record.
Hoot is bred this year to our stunning sire, Tuscan Sun. Sunny has produced cria with absolutely lovely fleece. He has maintained his fleece qualities over time and his density is amazing. This should be a lovely cria in spring.
Hootalinqua is hitting the age of 17 this year so we are going to allow her to retire to pasture after this years cria is born. She is well deserving. Therefore she is NFS and enjoying the green grass at Bel Canto Farm.
Description
Katie is a pleasure to have on the farm. Her sire is 8X Champion STF Jetson who descends from Black Peruvian Royal Forest and Peruvian Dakotia (Bueno).
Her Dam Hootalinqua from the Patagonia herd has produced ribbon winning offspring.
Kate's fleece is very dense and bright, with excellent coverage. Great conformation with a sweet personality.
In the Spring of 2014 Katie presented us with a beautiful dark brown female out of TGF Freedom Fighter - Claudia Raine. She is extremely soft, with bright expressive fleece and she stands like a winner. And she is....her first show - "Best of the US - 2015" she walked out of the ring with a blue ribbon. A couple more show, a couple more blue ribbons and a Reserve Champion. ----SOLD
